For the Picture Of The Day, here’s a pre-Monty Python sketch that John Cleese and Graham Chapman did with Tim Brooke-Taylor and Marty Feldman, from “At Last The 1948 Show.” It was later resurrected by the full Python crew, but this was the original.

“At Last The 1948 Show,” which was produced in 1967 by David Frost’s company, was also where “…and now for something completely different” (the catch phrase used later on “Monty Python’s Flying Circus”) originated. It was not said by any of the men, but rather Aimi MacDonald, the fifth (and only female) member of the “At Last The 1948 Show” cast.

I just hope kids today can watch this and understand how rough life used to be…
