I’ve been a fan of most things David Pogue has done (which is why he was a frequent guest on my radio show). His new podcast is no exception — another showcase for his storytelling skills — which is why I recommend you give it a listen.

It’s called “Unsung Science,” and kicked off with an episode about how a Google engineer came up with a way to reduce the mosquito population in Fresno, California, without insecticides or genetic modification. My favorite part is the detail about how he got mosquitos to march in a straight line through a mechanism that photographed each one individually.
