A couple of weeks ago, I joked that we needed an app to alert us whenever Steve Kornacki was analyzing election results at the MSNBC big board. Now, we need an alert system for whenever Dr. Sanjay Gupta is going to appear on CNN. He’s putting in a lot of hours to keep us informed about Coronavirus — and debunk a lot of the nonsense that’s spreading like, well, a virus.
Priority #1 for the Democrats right now must be Keep Joe Biden Healthy. In fact, I’d quarantine him in a room with Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
If there’s any upside to all the coverage of the Coronavirus, it’s that no news outlet has given Rudy Giuliani a platform to spew his garbage. Actually, I’m not 100% sure that’s true. He could have been on every Fox News Channel show every day and I would never have known it.
If there’s an upside to the travel business taking serious hits during this crisis, it’s the damage being done to the bottom line of all the Trump hotels and resorts. Of course, he’ll no doubt make sure he and his family of grifters get the bulk of the bailout money that will inevitably be issued from your tax dollars.
Which number do you think will be higher nine months from now? New babies conceived by couples sheltering at home, or divorces issued to couples who couldn’t take one more minute of sheltering at home together?
Attorney General William Barr has instructed the Justice Department to drop charges against two Russian firms which — according to Robert Mueller — interfered in our 2016 presidential election. Why drop the charges now? So they can do their damnedest to screw up this year’s election in favor of Trump, of course!
And finally: this is the furthest I’ve ever made it in March Madness without a single team in my bracket losing a single game!
