This is such a good example of what a trailer should be — funny, clever, with a tease about the movie’s plot without tipping it in a rapid-fire edit of scenes that give the jokes away. “Mother” wasn’t as great as the three movies he wrote/directed/starred in before it, but it’s Albert Brooks!

I thought this was lost but low and behold we found it! This was a teaser we put in the theaters for MOTHER. It was released at the head of Mission Impossible, hence the reference. Would be very hard to convince a studio to do this today.
