I don’t know which of the four writers who worked on the screenplay (including Mario Puzo, David Newman, Leslie Newman, and Robert Benton) deserves credit for the best line ever spoken on screen by Margot Kidder (who died this weekend at 69), but here it is, from the 1978 “Superman” movie. As Christopher Reeve’s Man Of Steel swoops in to save her from plummeting to Earth after falling out of a helicopter that’s crashed atop the Daily Planet building, he tells her not to worry, because he’s got her. She replies: “You’ve got me? Who’s got you?”
