Sorry to hear of the death of Cokie Roberts at 75 due to complications from breast cancer. I always viewed her as one of the good ones, whether on ABC, NPR, or as a guest on my show. A pleasure to talk to, very insightful, and it was clear she could give as good as she got.

Sorry to hear of the death of Ric Ocasek, who had quite a few fresh-sounding hits in the late 70s/early 80s with The Cars. I enjoyed (and played) the hell out of their records, but they were terrible in concert, as I wrote in this piece a couple of years ago.
