- This is a hugely dangerous failure by US Capitol Police and others, allowing protestors to walk around inside the Capitol without being arrested. Normally, they’d give you trouble if you even stepped outside the roped-off area.
- But they would have handled this the same way if these were BLM protestors, right?
- This is not a coup d’etat, because none of these morons knows what that means. Rather, this is a coup d’deplorable.
- When this crowd doesn’t disperse and police begin making arrests, the names of all those detained should go into a newly-created database of people who will not be allowed access to the COVID-19 vaccines.
- While all the networks are covering the coup attempt at the Capitol, Sinclair’s KDNL-30 is alone in St. Louis in sticking with its regularly-scheduled syndicated shows. Because to hell with the People’s House, we’re showing the People’s Court.

- The US Capitol Police is a federal agency, which begs the question: did Trump or any of his underlings order its officers to stand down and allow the mob to enter the building? Also, why have only 13 people been arrested?
- According to The Washington Post, some of the terrorists who got into the Senate chamber took a photo with Pence’s bible, then “left at the direction of police.” They LEFT? Why were they not handcuffed and jailed immediately?
- As Van Jones asked today, how different would the events of today have been if the terrorists at the Capitol had been Black? Or Muslim?
- Stop talking about anyone removing Trump via the 25th Amendment. It would take longer than 2 weeks — and you’ll never find enough members of his cabinet & Congress to go along. Maybe take two minutes to see what’s involved.
- Remember, these cabinet members are stalwart Trumpsters who are going to stick with their cult leader until the end. Notice how none of them have spoken on the record.
- Same goes for impeachment. Even if it passed the House, you would still need 2/3 of the Senate to vote in favor. Never gonna happen. It’s more important for the new Dem-led Congress to get to the bottom of the Kapitol’s Keystone Kops’ epic failure today.
